History
The company was originally established in 1978 as Livestock Systems UK Limited supplying livestock buildings and equipment to the agricultural industry. Over the following two decades, Livestock Systems expanded its field of operation and in January 1997 changed its name to Milbury Systems Ltd, it being more appropriate to the wider construction market in which the company now operates in.
Milbury Systems Limited provides concrete products suited to a wide range of construction and agricultural applications. The company works along with many of the major construction companies in the United Kingdom and is recognised as a specialist in retaining structures, both above and below ground.
In the spring of 2003 Milbury began manufacturing prestressed concrete panels and associated precast products at a new facility in its factory at Lydney in Gloucestershire. In April 2010 the offices were relocated to the Lydney estate giving the added advantage of having all facets of the business under one roof.
In 2007 Milbury was acquired by Eleco plc, a holding company focused on advanced offsite building systems and software for the construction industry. Eleco plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and employs over 500 staff operating in the UK, Sweden, Germany and South Africa.
Milbury’s journey has seen growth and adaptation to suit market trends. Experience and strong roots in the Agricultural and Construction sectors has made Milbury Systems a name you can depend on.
