DESCRIPTION

Working with William Haley Engineering who designed the steelwork for the construction, Milbury supplied a 200mm thick horizontal unit which spanned the columns of the building on the inner face and simply clipped to the stanchion web behind. The prestressed panels are robust and fire resistant, providing a four hour fire rating which is necessary due to the combustible nature of the stored material. The wall divisions were created using Milbury’s Rocket® wall units which were sited onto the finished floor. The use of two different products successfully created individual storage areas within the facility.

The Rocket® walls were the ideal choice as they are easily removable to redistribute the storage area should alternative materials require storage.
