DESCRIPTION

As Milbury specializes in earth retaining systems the company developed a Vertical Cantilever earth retaining wall system that also reached a staggering height of 8.2 metres. The pre-stressed units were designed to allow a maximum panel thickness of 400mm at the lower section of the panels to manage the increased moment effect as a result of the height of the panels.

Through the use of a specifically designed propping system Milbury enabled other works to proceed to schedule.
