DESCRIPTION

Milbury supplied a bespoke 9m high by 24m long fire wall featuring pre-stressed concrete panels and precast concrete fire columns. Each of the panels was 200mm thick to provide up to four hours fire protection. Despite restricted site conditions due to the existing substation layout and overhead power cables, the project was completed very successfully, and ahead of schedule.
